I think she realized something important
Once more that
She should concentrate on good things
And not upon the bad

People who care
And those who are like me
Love her dearly
And shouldn't let other people
Hurt her so much

But alas a problem arises
We can only speak
Through our words
That we write to each other

I shouldn't let her get hurt
Somehow should help her rise
Above such stupid things
That harm her so

If someone worries about me
I'd place a false smile
And act as if i'm okay
But my real feelings appear
When i write my poetry

Don't worry, I'm okay
And so is she
From now on
We won't let stupid things
Bring us down.

No one's really done anything now,
It's her own mind
That keeps hurting her
Over and over again...
The only enemy is her own mind

And to make matters worse
My mind is harming me as well
Forcing me to place
A smile upon, my tear fulled face

As I dance a lone dance
Inside my mind
And it shouldn't be like that.
It has to stop

I'll stop banging my head against the wall.
Trying to figure out
How to help others
When i should be helping myself

Yet I know
That there are those
Who want to help

And I wish not to ask of them
To help me through the time
But I will if I must
For they shall see through my mask
Like you see through glass

For that I thank them
From saving me from myself
Just as I save them
From their minds
And from harming themselves
